Energy Domain Analyst
Translate fuel logistics, depot operations, and corridor behaviour into models and intelligence Atlas can act on.
This is the role that keeps Atlas honest about the domain it operates in. You will work alongside engineers and analysts to make sure the platform reflects how energy systems actually work, not how we assume they work.
- Work with operators, regulators, and suppliers to understand how the fuel system actually functions.
- Translate operational reality into models, rules, and requirements the platform can implement.
- Support the intelligence team with domain interpretation of model outputs.
- Build and maintain domain knowledge inside Atlas Intelligence.
- Deep familiarity with energy or fuel systems in Malawi or the wider region.
- Ability to work with data and to reason about operational systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication with non-technical and technical audiences.
These are not required. They are the kind of background that tends to do well in this role.
- Prior experience in a fuel company, regulator, or logistics operator.
- Analytical background in operations research, economics, or engineering.
