Geospatial Engineer
Build the mapping, routing, and geographic reasoning layer that underlies the Atlas operational picture.
Geography is the physical substrate Atlas reasons over. Corridors, depots, vessels, and cities are all spatial. Your work is what lets the platform connect them.
- Build and maintain the mapping and routing systems underlying Atlas.
- Model operational geography: corridors, depots, and movement across regions.
- Work with the intelligence team on geographic exposure and risk analysis.
- Support the front-end team with the data and APIs behind the map surfaces.
- Experience with geospatial data and tooling (PostGIS, GDAL, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and geospatial data modelling.
- Comfort working with large spatial datasets.
These are not required. They are the kind of background that tends to do well in this role.
- Experience with routing, network analysis, or corridor modelling.
- Background in transport, logistics, or infrastructure.
